In this blog, I will explain exactly how to customize and infuse your CRM with your brand – and why branding your CRM is more important than you think.

So what do I mean when I say “branding your CRM”? Well, darling, I’m talking about customizing your Honeybook or Dubsado to match your business. I mean colors, brand voice, logos, the whole damn cake.
And you might be thinking, “Chloe, is this really important? My social media and my website look great. Does my CRM really matter that much?”
To which I would say: 👁️👄👁️ Yes! Yes, it is so important!!
Branding your CRM makes your business recognizable on every platform. It helps clients trust you, and perhaps most importantly, gives your business a human side that clients can relate to! This is the same reason why you infuse your brand into your social media presence and website in the first place.
So, what about your CRM?
Your clients don’t usually interact with your CRM until they’re ready to book a consultation call. So you might think it doesn’t “need” to be branded. But having everything look nice and pretty until someone is interested in working with you kinda feels like that person who is super sweet and attentive until you actually start dating 👀.
Don’t lead your clients on. Your brand should be consistent from meet-cute to wedding day (aka, until the contract is signed) and beyond!
Having a strong brand infused into your CRM shows your clients that you are detail-oriented and consistent. And that is exactly how you want your clients to feel – especially if you are in the wedding industry!
There are three very important (and easy!) ways to infuse your brand into your CRM. The first of these is your proposal. If you do not have the time or money to invest in fully branding your CRM, prioritize branding your proposal.
Your proposal is the first thing your lead will see when they decide to work with you. It should accurately represent you. It should reflect your brand voice, colors, and the overall experience your clients will have when they work with you – ideally, easy to understand, enjoyable to read, with clear next steps.
I recommend hiring a pro or using a template to make sure your proposal is on brand. You can customize the wording to match your brand voice and implement your brand colors (more on that below!).
Pro Tip: If you have a clear idea of how you want to set up your proposal (and the rest of your CRM) use Dubsado! Dubsado offers much more customization than other CRMs.

To update your email signature in Honeybook, click on your profile photo, then click “My Templates” and then “Email Signature.” To update your email signature in Dubsado, click “Templates,” then “Canned Emails,” and then “Email Signature.”
See? Not so scary.
Now, here’s the best (and easiest) part of infusing your brand in your CRM. And it only takes a few clicks!
To update your brand settings in Honeybook, click on your profile photo, then “Company Settings,” and then “Brand.” For Dubsado, click “Settings” and then “Brand.”

From there, you can seamlessly update your CRM to reflect your current brand design! Now, when someone begins working with you, they will effortlessly transition to your CRM without feeling jolted by the lack of brand cohesion.
You should feel as confident in your CRM as you feel in your favorite cozy sweater. It, like many parts of your business, should feel like an extension of yourself – infused with your character and personality.
